Default Vforce radiator fan

I've taken 3 trips to the dunes and I've noticed my radiator fan is running 95% of the time. My brother rides with me on his raptor but his fan is only on about 15% of the time. So I guess it's because the engine is revving more due to the weight and the CVT likes to rev at 6000+rpm. What are your experiences with the fan? It's been 100 F all three trips so I'm hoping it wont be so bad when the air temp drops. I dont think I'm lean cause my spark plugs are black and I've got stock jetting at 5600ft.

Green700 I emptied my radiator and refilled it with EngineIce, this stuff is the best it helps keep the motor run cooler and your fan will not run as much. Many of the guys that race GNCC and MX use this stuff and I swear by it. You will need to buy two containers as one is quite not enough. Good Luck!!

or water wetter or any of the other radiator additives... if you read through these forums, you'll see that the 650 Prairie ( base for the 700 ) has had alot of temp problems, mostly stemming from plugged radiators, however, you are correct in that the higher reving engine will produce more heat... I've heard nothing but good comments about the coolant additives, as they reduce the micro bubbles that form in the coolant from the hottest components of you engine, & help the cooling system work more effectively...Have A Good One ...WAM

Mine didnt run as hot as I thought it would this weekend at the dunes. I even towed my buddys P.O.S Honda back up hills through the sand, and it never missed a beat. The fan would come on for a few mins., but thats bout it.
