thanks, i went out today to check the front and ended up not doing it becuase of the heat of the exhuast 4 inches away from the plug! i also tried to take the inner plastic off so i could get better access to it but there are 2 rubber rivets or something that looked complicated to get off anybody got the secret to getting that peice of plastic off?

the plastic thing are like rivets you just take a srewdrive and pry out the center one"it's the smaller circle in the middle". Then you pull out the outside one and the platic will come right off. hope this helps.

What??? you guys are goin about it the hard way. When i check my plugs i just check the easy one first.(Left hand side of bike...front fender well) Then to check the other plug just take off the cvt boot (phillips screw driver) look inside and wala there is the plug...... i pull the wire off and break the plug loose with the sprark plug wrench provided then i take a piece of hose and put it on the plug itself and twist the hose.... out comes the plug.(My hands are kinda big.) Put it back in the same way only in reverse......twist plug in with it in the hose until it is tight pull the hose off and snug it with the wrench...easy!!
And yes when you check your plugs check them bolth at the same time. The air filter and snorkel are gonna make you leaner.
