backfiring and cutting off

Default backfiring and cutting off

i got a 97 lakota no mods i was riding last week and went up a hill and rolled over backwards bent the front rack and smashed the headlights is all after i got going again when im ridingitll bacfire and ill lose power its like someone kills all electrical power and after a few seconds itll pick back up when it does this ill shift to neutral and the liht will be dim and almost go off ill try to rev it up itll backfire then after a few seconds itll pick up and the light will be on as normal i came home and took all the bent stuff off and looked under the hood where i guess the cdi box is and no wires are pinched or cut there are two boxes there a black one and a metal one with fins on it like a big computer chip reckon i busted one of these

Since you had an accident, maybe the battery cables came loose. Just a guess but ya never know.
