Pros and Cons

My father is trying to decide whick bike to buy a
650 Kawasaki 2003 or a 600 Polaris Twin 2004.
He will mostly use this machine to do some hunting, short rides and a little work around
the yard.
Can someone please help with some info on the bikes
Thanks

Looks like your dad would be more of a casual rider where the ultimate in performance is less important than other qualities (such as rider comfort). With this in mind the Polaris may suit him better because it would offer a more comfortable ride with its independent rear suspension (IRS) feature. Alternate choices with similar features of the Polaris would be the new Arctic Cat (with the 650 V-Twin motor) and the Honda Rincon 650 (a great IRS system but no front differential lock).
If better high speed handling and best acceleration in it’s class is more important the lighter Prairie 650 should be the first choice.
Beyond this it is a fit and finish issue (sit on each one, take it for a test ride if you can and give the one you like best high marks in that department). Combine this with the other pros and cons of each to make your decision.
