Default Vforce Dyno run

Green700,
You da man, yes exactly what you said by having the cvt at a constant gear that would work. The only problem is the quad would be in gear for starting and with pressure against the rear wheels it might not work but worth a try. I am talking about installing a spacer between the spring and the face plate so the spring is not quite fully compressed but within 1/2 inch of full compression to simulate a 4th gear pull. Like I said you da man!!!!

If you look at the companies that make performance parts for Polaris' you'll notice they never use RWHP, always crank HP. I would guess its because CVT cannot be measured correctly on a typical dyno.

I really would like to see the run. I care. Were did you have it posted? Can you email it or give me a link on were to see it? Much appreciated. I can use it as a comparison. I spoke to the dyno operator again today to discuss my concerns with the accuracy of a "rolling" inertia dyno with a CVT equipped ATV. He told me he actually spoke with the engineer that designed the jet kit for the Vforce. This guy supposedly told him how to run the dyno and adjust the carbs for the proper AF ratio. Dynojet reitterated that true HP will not be shown on the dyno but only to be used as a tuning tool. This we already now...right? Nice to know that he gets quality support from Dynojet. We shall see at 11:00am tomorrow.

Stan,
Go with the stock jets to start then go to the Dyno jets and you will see the stock ones work better 100%.

That is what I plan on doing. I'm trying to avoid using the Dynojet mains. The needles look really aggressive. Dynojet's dyno run with the Vforce shows almost a 5hp gain at around 55mph or so. More top end maybe? Not sure. I will find out shortly.

Hey Kevin, did you get my email about the DMC Alien pipe questions? It seems that you have had you pipe on the bike for some time. I was just wondering if you had the same results that I did.

I sent you a long reply Stan.

If you put the V on they dyno, make sure to tell us what the curve looks like with the Aliens on and what spring you're using. I'm going to get a tach eventually and dial this thing perfectly.

What's the deal on the Dynojet being the devil. They are rich I admit but if you adjust the needles and maind they aren't so bad....Right
