on trail belt replacement???

Default on trail belt replacement???

im heading up to new hampshire in a couple of weeks for a weekend long ride with some family and friends. and was just wondering if i had all the tools and a new belt could i swap the belt on the trail and continue riding for the weekend. ive heard thet you have to change shims or adjust something but wasnt really sure. also should i buy stock 650 belt or the 360 or 700 belt keep in mid it may have to fixed on the trail thanks for anyones help.

Default on trail belt replacement???

You are gonna need a 10 mm socket, some half inch extensions, a rachet, and a 27mm socket. You shouldn't have to reshim with a new belt.... i've heard that a 700 belt or a 360 belt will give you 3-4 mph in the top end but i've also heard that you have to have arms as big as egg plants to put them on.lol

I just put a shim in my bike this weekend..... have to take the belt off to reshim. Bottom line, you could put a new belt on at camp or on the trail if you had to.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] Check out nyroc's website and print how to take belt off and put on.... EASY!!!!
