Default ? for New Brunswick ATV'ers

I've got a buddy with a P650 that has a grenaded front differential. It's a mess! A couple of months ago I saw an ad in the 'Auto Seller' for a big salvage yard in N.B. that had ATV and motorcycle parts, along with car and truck parts. They had a 650 that was junked. Now I can't find their name or phone number. Does anyone know the name or phone #? Thanks

Scott,

The place you are talking about is Tingley's Cycle Salvage in Salisbury, NB
Phone # (506) 372-5085

I seen that add back February, and I kept the Auto Trader for that exact reason. You never know when you will need some parts.

We were both in a competition last week. He went over a small jump and landed on his front wheels, there was a snapping noise and it ground to a halt. The case was broken in several places; the worst area was the input shaft side of the case. Another side of the case was broken out around one of the axle shaft bearings. All the bearings and seals were ruined, also the ring and pinion were in bad shape. $1100 Can in parts!!
Three possible causes: 1 - he was running a lift kit; an axle may have pulled partially out of the case and then smashed stuff when it went back in. 2 - he was making the pass in 4x4; it may have not been fully locked in, the jump was right after the starting line. 3 - he may have touched the brakes while in the air, thus bringing the entire drive train to a stop. When he landed on the front wheels it would have to start the entire drive train turning from front to back and the sudden stress may have been too much for the front case.

Any other places around that might have a front diff unit? The place in New Brunswick had sold the one that they had.
