Default Naber: First Impressions

Well first off let me say that i don't know much about the inner workings of th 650 and what makes it tick, I do know when something feels right or not quite right, having said that I just came in from a quick ride after installing the naber module. I have been running my 650 stock with just a few mods. listed below. I can definitely feel a big difference from a stand still and hitting the throttle full. The front end lifts off the ground, I dont' know if it would continue to go right over if i continued the floor it, but the acceleration does feel nice and an improvement over no module, not having another one to compare it with I can only speculate that the DG module will give the same performance, I will leave that to someone more qualified and knowlegdable than myself. I haven't had much of a chance to try the top end where i rode, but will soon enough. I believe i can feel a stronger pull while the machine continues to pickup. Perhaps someone can tell me what I should be looking for if it isn't that obvious. Defiinitely an improvement from what I can tell, once I take it out for a few hours I am sure I will be able to get a better sense of what improvements this module gives.

FIREMAN650... see if you notice any improvement from say 10mph & up... I have a DG module, & it holeshots great, but makes no difference from 10-15mph up... I'd also like to see if you hit a "hard wall " at rev limit ( similar to reverse with out the override ), or if you have any inceased acceleration near top speed, over no module

I have a Naber module in route, & a DG module currently installed, I will be side by side comparing them in my "drive way drag test strip", once mine arrives...

your first impressions will help though...

if you put yours on a switch, or can disconnect to time distances, & time to a certain speed, with & without the module, would be a big help... since we already know that all the modules work on the bottom end, measuring times from 1/2 throttle to 3/4 or full throttle, with & without, will show if there really is any improvement with the Naber module on mid to top end acceleration

you are a great man to donate your quad to science... thanks for the info...WAM

Hey Fireman650...

Where did you get your Nabor module? How much $$$? Is it easy to install? Thanks!
