Im going to rejet my p650 tomarrow with the help of my dad, i have the 145 and 148 main jets + what is in the carbs. Can the 650 be rejetted with out taking out the carbs? Is there anything i should know/ need before i rejet?

Should be able to get the bowls off without taking the carbs off. Those little screews
can be very agravating. I changed mine too 4 mm allen headed screws. much easier to
work with.

 

You really need to do a search on the subject. There were dozens of topics and hundreds of posts on this. Get some tiny #4 washers before you do the job so you can shim the needles up.
