CT Exhaust for KFX400
#1
Ned help I am looking for a complete exhaust system for my kfx400 and looking for some reviews on the CT full system.I ride on forest trails so db's are a issue and the CT is 95db's. only other mod I have is a K&N filter. Any advice would be great.

I have CT and I am very happy with it.
Looks, sounds, fits, and performs good.
gave the quad more of a powerband feel.
I also have a K&N filter with no lid and I run with or in front of raptors in drag races. They slowly pass me around 5th gear.

on my 400 i have thr hmf system which i like but a little loud. i kinda wish i got the ct butt im very happy with the product. I use 175 jetts alba air filter system with 4inch k&n filter , three turns out on air and i still have my stock lid on. I race mx and use kenda klaw 18x10.5x8 tire with 13 tooth front sprocket. and beat stock raptors all the time

i have the yoshimura full compitition pipe.kicks *** all the way.very loud, but a kit can be purchased with three end caps.quiet, medium, and loud.have not bought yet so ask someone how quiet it is.in canada they are not as picky on sound levels.

My friend has a Yoshi pipe on his raptor and the endcaps suck. They are a big restriction, all it has is a screen and smaller hole for the tip of the pipe. In order to run them he has to rejet or it runs like ****.
Also big power diference when he has them in. If you are going to get the endcaps you would almost be better off runing the stock pipe.

Dudman...check out www.dirtwheels.com They have an article in there called the Z400 exzhaust shootout. They compared alot of the major manufacturers full pipes. All were given the same type of tests and run up on the dyno. White Bros. took 3rd and 4th. Trinity and CT tied for 1st. I think that article was very informative on my decision with exhaust. CT is descent priced, performed great, and they'll even throw the jet in for free. (I know, alot of companies do that.)

Hey thanks everybody that has responded to this forum. I have been talking to alot of people and I have decided to get the Pro-circuit Ti-4 full system. It sounds sweet and with all of those tree hugging hippies in California i need a system that is below the regulated sound level which I am being told goes down even lower in 2004. And the pro circuit is right at the new sound level. Dirt wheels also rated it #1 tied with the CT system
