I was reading the specs on the 2000 mojave and noticed the engine is a 245cc single overhead cam rather than a 249cc duel overhead cam they have run for years.I do like the fact that the 2000 model has electric start with backup recoil.

 

Where we you reading those spec's? None of those are right!

 

If you would like to read it for yourself go to main page of this site scan down to quad specs click on 2000 models then click 2000 kawasaki then mojave scan down until you see the specs.Unless it is a misprint I believe that is what it said. Please respond to let me know if you found it.

mojave4, the spec chart is wrong! In the reading about the Mojave it states that it is a 249cc, dual overhead cams, and kick start.

 

JD,I went to kawasaki.com and it is exactly the same on the reading it still says it has the dohc engine but the spec chart says otherwise I was thinking maybe they messed up and put the specs for a Lakota,but the Lakota is a 300.I stopped by the kawasaki shop and you are right same mojave not that its a bad thing I like the dohc engine,but I was alittle exited about the electric start anyway thanks for the correction.
