Anyone had the fun task of replaceing this gasket yet?Has anyone heard of a prob with the radiator cap leaking ?I am still getting water in the oil and have not had it in any water for 2 months now.27 bucks for a cap 40 for a gasket for the pump.

 

Try bringing in your cap to Napa. Polaris wanted $27.00 for a cap too, it was $4.00 at napa. That was causing an overheating problem with my bike. A quick fix is to cut out some rings from a 12 pack box and put them under the rubber on the cap. Also, try bending the tabs that hold it down. Just a little bit though.

Just use some high temp RTV for a gasket. Id push mine over a cliff before Id pay 40 buck for a gasket.
