Default Summer is going FAST

I'm biking much more than posting....

First the 650 is a rock solid now. I just put over 3000km on mine in the last two months I think I'm reading about 18200 km on the meter and approx. 900 hours. WHAT I'M AMAZED IS THAT RIGHT NOW I HAVE OVER 6000KM ON THE BELT AND VERY LOW SQUAKING FROM IT only on take off for a fraction of a second. Most of these miles are hard miles too. I'm replacing it next week because I want to (I like how that sounds). I am very impressed with the new clutch design that I'm running. I also put the dale brooks mod on and my belt held up to that too. I made 2 trips to nfld. and explored off the beatin trail. I went 204 km on one tank of gas and one 5 gallon gerryjug, so my gas milage is much better than before. I want to know if anyone knows if Kawi is now releasing these clutches for other people to upgrade to, ( I haven't seen or heard if this is the same as the ones in the P700 however I know I take a different belt number than the 700 and we put an 02 belt in mine last. My carbs are good right now but I'm keeping a close eye on em.

enjoy

OK... KAWI650... I'm biting... what new clutch design ??? Pictures or descriptions please...I just bought a new front & rear '03 clutch, & 360 belt for my '02, as they were worn out... the dealer had to pull the rear one off a new quad, as Kawasaki America has zero of them in stock, & they've just left from Japan on a slow boat... I'll be rebuilding my old ones specifically for mud bog racing with 28" tires.... come on man, share the info...WAM

Sorry I don't have pictures or anything all I know is it was complete replacement for front and back by Kawi canada. When I looked at it; it appeared to have 3 different types of surfaces the inner was shiny and smoothest the middle had visible metal particles and the outer looked smooth and was not as smooth. Also on driving you will notice it is louder. I'm plan on talking to some people at Kawi soon to find out what the differences are and I will keep you posted.
