p360 check belt light???
#1
Purchased a new 2003 P360 in mid July, has been returned to dealer 4 times for the belt light coming on. It has now been in the shops for almost 4 weeks and dealer can't fix problem and Kawasaki won't replace bike. Dealer has replaced switches, fuses, timers, and it still keeps coming on after about 10-min. of ride time. Anybody else ever had this problem, so far I have been very disapointed in Kawasaki and the dealer for their lack of help in resolving this issue, I now basically have a new ATV that I have never been ever to ride for more than 10 min. without it going into shop. And to top it off they tried to screw me on the $300 rebate also.

I haven't heard of this. Yours is a lemon or you have a stupid dealer that can't fix anything remotely difficult.
If I were you:
I would look for a smarter dealer and/or I would complain to kawasaki.
If you were to mess with it yourself, make sure the belt really is as tight as the belt spec allows or try soldering the belt trip wires together bypassing the switch and connector. Only really supid people need that belt light. The belt will slip and work real crappy before it trips the belt switch, so you really don't need the switch.

Another week with out atv, dealer still can't find problem and has now ordered a new wire harness, they hope that will fix it. Seems I really got a lemon....Attempting to get money back now, but so far no luck with that either. Way too many problems for an atv I have never rode more than 10 minutes. Called Kawasaki for guidance and they were worthless...just said numerous times it was the dealers responsibility to fix it and they would not get involved.
