Choices choices lol.... i dont want it depending on speed or anything i dont want the zippy zoom bike... I just want a bike that will make riding just FUN.... which ones funner v force or raptor? I still want it fast i just want it past 70 even by 1 or 2 just plain out past 70.. anyone?

 

If your looking for a all out fun bike, nothing is even close to the V700.. Its that simple.. The raptor can currently be built to be alot faster than the V700, but I put the GPS on my V and it did 75.6 on pavement, the same my buddys stock raptor did. The rappy is alot lighter and you can feel it, but it is VERY top heavy, and I personally hate that feeling, thats why I got a banshee to drag race. i haven't ridden a 700 but i can assure you you will have fun on a raptor. have you got the latest issue of dirt wheels? they did a shootout between the raptor, 700 and ds650. they weren't very impressed with the 700. about the only advantage i can see is that you wouldn't have to shift gears, but i like rowing my own.

 

As long as they continue to test the V-Force with small riders against small quads, they will never have much good to say about it. I'd like to see a shootout where the riders are all man-sized 220+ individuals. I guarantee the results would then start to favor the DS and the V.

I had the DS out at my dads the other day & the neighbor stopped down on his V-force. Looked like a nice bike. It probably is fun, he was riding wheels up for a LONG ways. And the clutch is much more aggressive than a Polaris. It was quick out of the hole.

I watched Raptors, modified Z-400s, Preditor 500, Banshees, DS-650s, one YFZ 450 and a couple of V-Forces drag race one weekend at approx 880' according to my GPS. The V-Force could sometimes get them off the line and hold its own till what looked like about 500' then the others would leave it. I did notice one of the Z-400s must have been stock because the V-Force could beat it.

Yall can believe me if you want to if not thats fine. Its just what I witnessed one weekend. I dont own any of the above and dont plan too.

Drag racing and top speed may not be important but I just wanted to tell what I seen. Also, I think the V Force has more potential with that V Twin than any other atv made.

 

Its been covered in here 100 times that a simple primary spring change will keep the V-Force from being caught in a drag race.

 

I let my brother do the honors the other night when that neighbor stopped down. The V-force guy asked twice for a race, so he got one. The V-force got the jump out of the hole (like all autos do) but from 3rd gear (of the DS) up the V-Force really fell back quick. It's a nice quad none the less.
