Bent 650 axel good at the skinny section by the wheel. Can I get it bent back or will it be real weak after. Who has after market axel for the 650.

 

Haven't heard of after market. Havent heard of very many 650 axles bending, yours is about the 3rd I heard of.

The first 110 2002 Prairie 650's had improperly heat treated axles and are recalled, might want to make sure yours isn't one of those since it is a free fix.

My ATV dealer knows of a shop that can straighten ATV axles close enough to call them good. You may try asking some of the bigger, better ATV shops in your area (or call Hollink in spencerport, NY). I think it can be fixed for 1/4 to 1/3 the cost of new.

 

I have seen several bent Prairie axles and one broken axle! The axle in my 700 Prairie is bent a little already too,,, not sure how that happened tho!!!!!!! LOL LOL!!!
I have straightened them myself in our shop press,, not that big a deal but you just have to be careful not to bend it the opposite way!!!! Also,,NEVER USE HEAT to straighten it,,, it will really ruin the axle!
