Default Blisters from the V Force!

I don't know about any other V Force owner, but I'm getting sick of these blisters everytime I ride. I've changed grips, got the best gloves, but still get them. Is it because I ride hard, fast, and long. No matter what I try, I get them. I just got back from a 2- 17 mile lap that is plain brutal. Very rooty and ruff in preperation for the GNCC race next weekend. But just after the first lap, I could feel the blisters coming. Do any of you have simular problems, or is it just me? Those who race for over 2 hrs, what is your secret?

I have a left hand full of them right now from riding today...also getting ready for next weekend. I believe that it is from aggressive riding...not the V. In my case it may be from holding on for dear life.

Trust me, its not your V. When I ride really aggressive, I can feel the blisters coming on. I just try and change the position in which I hold the grip to help out some. Do you have a good pair of riding gloves???? Maybe try some of the gel grips. I have the Scott CompII ATV grips and find them to be pretty decent

My hands are now solid leather....but it's worth it. And yes I wear gloves

the best grips you can buy are not at a atv/motorcycle dealership.
go to your local bike shop, be sure that they sell the nice expensive high end bikes, and geta nice soft set of bike grips.they are very soft and spongie.
i usually am riding or racing so hard that i don't even notice the blisters til the ride or race is over.
but those nice bicycle grips do help alot.

tough hands are something you achieve!!!

if your hands hurt,,,,it just means you ride too seldom,,,,,,,,or you just have weak hands

ride more

sore hands are nothing to bicth about

Yep, just need to ride more. The blisters will soon turn to thick chunks of skin.
