Does anyone happen to know what weight of oil Kawasaki recommends for the 220?

According to supplement page 16-3 of the Kawasaki Shop Manual for the 220...

SAE 10W-30, 10W-40, 10W-50, 20W-40 or 20W-50

Take your pick.

You should pick an oil in corelation with your climate. The warmer the weather / climate the heavier the oil weight.

Here in Michigan, our hottest day may be 85 possibly 90 so I use Valvoline 10w-30. Let's say if you lived in Texas or California, I would suggest 20w-50.

Hope this helps!
