I wanted something sportier than my trailboss 325 finally I found what i was lookin for, a 93 mojave 250 for 800 bucks. Well it is already stripped down to the frame and is all taken apart. My plan is to find about a 2 maybe 3 inch extended swingarm and about 1 inch over dual a-arms on the front. Everything will be sandblasted and powdercoated and a maybe few chrome parts. For the motor I am havin a shop completely rebuild and they are ordering a new sleeve they said would bring displacemment up to around 338cc along with a weisco new cams and much more. All said and done should make around 42 hp! When its all back together im ordering brand new factors green plastic and eveything will be color matched including the nerf bars. Will get picks up if i ever figure out how!

i am also interested in this. My buddy is actually rebuilding my lower end on my motor and her will ahve the whole thing apart. this is a great time to bore out the top end. 42 horse? With that, will it be able to keep up with stock raptors and z400's? my buddys all have these and i want to at least scare them.

thanks

good luck on your project. Post pics when you can. The engine shop might be stretching it a little to say 42hp. It is possible but takes one big port job and a big carb and the bottom end is sacraficed for the top end hp. I do know of a 330 mo engine for flat traking that has about 55 hp though(uses a 43mm carb). I am building a 330 with a huge port job, cams, 38 mm lectron with power jet, supertrap race pipe running open, cams, oversize valves, 13 to 1 compression, klr cdi box, and more and I don't think it will make 42 hp. But I will know before too long.

Anyway you will enjoy your project because the mo is a fun quad to build up.
