is it too early to change mt oil?
my 700 praire has almost 8 hrs of running on it now. i will be going on a long ride next weekend and was wondering if i can change my oil now. i want to start using synthetic in it. do you think it has been long enough or should i wait? thanks for any info.

Even if your afraid to use the synthetic I would change the oil pronto because it can't hurt it, clean oil is better oil.

Corvette motors are different animals than the normal passenger motor. The tolerances are much closer.
IMHO - just change your oil with Kawasaki oil. A couple of hours early won't hurt but stay off the throttle untill 10. Go with a synthetic if you wish after it is fully broke in. I know race car drivers that say wait untill 15K miles on my 2003 truck.
