how fast will a stock mojave go?

I bought a really clean 87 Mojave for what I thinks a great price. I thought I would make a quick buck by flipping or trading for a utility but it has become very hard to part with. I find it a very nice tight ride and it can hold its own on the trails even if everyone has 450s or better. Are there aftermarket parts that I should know about? I do not want to do anything too crazy because if it's all original then it's a very good motor. Also how fast can you make these and still be able to trail ride and know it's dependable. I also wonder if there is a good Electric start? Goki?
