Default Shifter question V-Force

The selector portion of my shifter has become loose( the part marked D-N-R). When I shift, everything wants to move. I can't see any external way to tighten this. Just noticed it today. I have had it since April. Has anyone else had this problem? I have been applying the footbrake to shift. A friend of mine rode it yesterday......hmmmm. Anyway, does anyone know if you have to take this thing completely apart to tighten it, or am I overlooking something?

No suggestions for tighting, but I would think that is a warranty item that the dealer could fix? If they show you how to do it, please let us know in case it happens to ours! good luck

Your shifter is broke dude. someone shifted it without pushing the button in on top. A kid did it to mine. Try explaining the proper operation. It helps .
