Default elka springs are here

Hey all, just picked up my new elka front springs, hoping to be able to install tomorrow before an afternoon of riding. They appear to be well made and do come with instructions. One question, does anyone know the nut size on top of the strut, and is it possible to get at it without removing the front plastic?

The nut is 41 mm or a big wrench and the one I just did I took out the front screws that hold the plastic on and just lifted the front high enuf to get the struts out! Just be carefull when you jack it up after taking the nut off that you don't pull the front axles out of the diff housing. I just put on the Elka springs and believe me,,, I have put on several of the Progressive kits my self but if I do another Elka I'm going to have help! I pinched my fingers several times trying to get the cover back over the spring, even with the adjuster at the bottom the Elkas are stiffer than the stock springs. I put these on for OldmanWheeler and also put on the Elka rear shock but we have not had a chance to ride it,,, we will probley take it out today and see how it is!

Keep us posted. I like my progressive but was interested in the elka's rear as well as fronts. How much did they run you?
Thanks
