Default New primary sping......Very good results

I put the HPD plain 55/215 in and rode today and was very happy with the way it performed. We rode in some rough trails so my brother took his Scrambler instead of his Banshee and I couldn't get a drag race comparison against the purple I've been using. Just using a seat of the pants feel, I'd say the performance is real close to that of the purple, possibly even better. I was coming out of sharp turns and going wide open with the throttle and it was almost pulling my arms off the bars. Stall is low enough to be rideable even in the tight stuff and it feels as strong as ever on top. I'd definitely recommend it with a good set of duals.

My wife and I went with our neighbor up Dutch Hollow road past WineCellar Park and goofed off today (Sunday). Ran into one of my old friends up there. We should get together sometime and ride!!!! I'd love to see a V in action!

The green will be a big improvement over the stock spring, but you'll eventually want something stiffer for use with the duals.
The plain came from HPD and was around $28 shipped.

Cartman, we rode a few miles out on 119 at a little town called Julian. Probably some of the best riding in this state. We ride at Dutch Hollow fairly often. We start out there and ride to Ridenour Lake in Nitro and back. Tight harescramble riding with some nice hillclimbs. I'll try to give you some notice next time we go there if you want to meet up with us.

Kevin- I just ordered the plain spring; it sounds like it outta' be a great spring. I think I'll go throw the green spring in for the upcoming weekend just to try it out. The specs on the plain seem like it will be an awesome spring. Thanks for the post

Something like the pink spring SHOULD have been the stock V-Force spring, but its not really what I'd call a "performance" spring. EPI is rating it at 0/160 compared to the 55/216 of the plain. No stall equals too long to build RPM's and no tire spin which will cause the front end to stand up in a race.
