well i have a 93 300ex that besides plastic seatcover twist throttle and tire its stock. it blows away my friends mojave in the short and long run. and when we start jumping we are about the same his shocks are stiffer but then again his is a 98 and i think my shocks are due for a rebuild or new ones. One thing i must say when you sit on a mojave you feel like your sitting on the front end and on the 300ex it feels like your sitting in it. Personally i would tell you to go ride them both

Mxracer98, Kawasaki sure did a good thing by starting their own race team. Yamaha is joining in 2000, and I would imagine Honda and Suzuki are to follow. Suzuki has a new sport quad coming out, so this shows even more of a sign they are interested in it. Honda already has a machine in production that would be competitive in the gncc with a few mods. Also, they have a 650EX in the works along with a 2 stroke racer, so they are heading that way too. The difference between Honda's high performance machine and Kawasaki's, is that Honda's you can buy yourself!

Where did you hear Suzuki is coming out with a new quad? BTW, I want something I can jump, rail around corners quickly, showoff on (mostly wheelies), and mod it to make it look good. Thx.

Rooster you have a better chance of finding a kx250-01 to buy than finding a used honda 250r at a reasonable price. On to other things a good way to ride wheelies on the mojave is stand on the grab bar with one foot with the other foot up behind you and give it gas pull up till the quad is almost straight up once it is up almost 90 degrees it is easy to control and you can use the loose foot to touch the ground for stability. I usually do mine in 2nd gear on my mojave but i have a twist throttle. If you try this post another message here and tell us how it went.

A 400 Quad Racers would be the new Suzuki. But more than Likely it would be a 400 QuadSport being a 4 stroke and all.

rooster-you said in one of your earlier messages that the 300EX is a '90s design, well sorry to burst your bubble, but in acuatlity the 300EX has been made since 1986-1987. This is when honda introduced the 250R's 4-sroke counterpart, the 250X. The 250X and 300EX are almost exactly the same. the X and EX have the exact same bore, but the EX is stroked another 8.2mm. the X acutally has a 36mm carb and the EX has a 32. The EX and X have the exact same frames, plastic, shocks, same reverse procedure, and almost same drivetrains. So the mojave and EX were born at the same time. I am not slamming you in any way, i am just filling you, please dont take this to offense. And the 300EX is an all around better quad, how is it not?

I keep hearing about this 650EX and supposed two-stroke Honda quad, but I just won't believe til I see it. That goes for the Super-Mojave, KXF-250R, Quadsport 400, improved-banshee, redesigned-warrior, larger wolverine, smaller DS (400), Polaris 'banshee-killer', and Arctic Cat sport machine, too.

Man, there is just soo much speculation going around. Hey, there may be the prototypes locked up somewhere, and I'm sure that they are real performers. But, it just doesn't matter unless we can go buy them and ride them for ourselves, does it?
