Leads? Anybody......Anybody......

What are your favorite paddle tires on a V for a big guy like me 250 lbs.

I called Skat Trak and they recommended 24 x 11 x 10 9 paddle extremes with a custom Douglas wheel they spec'd made just for the V. I about dropped the phone when I heard $372.68 + freight.

I might get over to the coast 3-4 times a year. I can't justify $400 price tag. My wallet is still healing from my recent Elka purchase.

I weigh 195 and I got 22" skat track haulers with .190 alum rims for about $240 (if I remember correctly). They work fine, as a cheaper option than the 24"

 

Lets see, your into your VForce around $8000 + and your concerned about spending and additonnal $150 to $200 on quality paddles???? By the 24x11x10 Extremes with 9 paddles, you wont reget it. I have gone from 20x11x10 to 22x11x10 to the ultimate 24x11x10's and couldn't be happier. This probably going to be one of those pay now for inferior paddles and then pay again for what you really need type situations!!!

Could you post or email me a pic(jason.kivi@cubic.com) of what the V looks like with 24 inch paddles on it. Are there any clearance problems when the suspension is fully compessed. I am going to be ordering a set of 24's within a week or two. thanks
