Default lakota performance kit

The 330 kit was $280, comes with piston, rings, sleeve, and gaskets. After the machine work it's about $500 or so to install.

K&G factory clutches is a upgrade to the centrafugal clutch. It comes with the clutch plates and heavier springs, about $40 from your local dealer.

All the upgrades mentioned make a very nice compact quad just completely full of furry.

I also added a mojave 34mm carb with a clamp on filter wich just did all the rest that I wanted thats for sure.

On ax and sx tracks it realy pulls it's wieght against the larger machines, on out door courses you have to go back to the 12T sprocket due to the wierd gear ratio of fourth and fith gear. For woods, it's blazing fast.

I sold my lakota in april and it took the feller three days to completely total it

hey gaff, it's good to hear from you again. I thought you were no longer helping us out after you sold your lakota. Sorry to hear about the person totaling it though. Once again, thanks for the info.

Default lakota performance kit

HEY GAFF
What's the deal with the 50 bucks you owe me????? It's been 5 months!!! I e-mailed you a few times with no replies. I no longer need the parts you sold to me(or at least the parts that i paid for and you said you were sending) so if you will just pay-pal my cash back to my account all will be forgotten.
Thanks Chris

Default lakota performance kit

I was on a riding trip for the last week so I havent had a chance to post. Gaff pretty much covered it. As for the rims, the Mojave and the Lakota rims are the same. I have bent the ITP and the stock so bad that you couldnt recognize them for rims. The Douglas have held up amazingly. Not a single flat spot or even a scrach. I like the stock size and I think all they make is 10 inch. They take a 4/137 bolt patern. If I want low profile, then I put on my Titan 18x11x10 Fast trekkers. They look realy good, perform great in all conditions and are real cheep. I mostly ride trails around here so usualy I have my ITP mud Lites on for ground clearence and added traction. I would sugest flipping your front wheels too. Its one of the best mods and it cost less than $5 bucks.

$4500 in mods and NO motor work???

I want to beef this thang up! lol I want a good secondary bike, plus make it "grunty" for the wife! I'm gonna do the clutch kit and do the 330 with bigger carb and some port work over the winter. I was going to get her a bigger bike but she wants to stay with the Kota (so used to it) so I'm just gonna make IT bigger! I've made the bike very sporty and would like to cut the plastics some to give it a little better shape. Anyone done this? But not the "full race cut"?!

I had a topic going on all this a while back but things were dead there for a while. I'm glad peeps are piping up! Thanks y'all.

This is my spair bike also, and my wife wont let me put the 330 kit in it because she says it scares her to much the way it is. She says she doesnt realize she is going that fast the way it is and any more she would kill her self. I dont want this to happen because she cleans the house once and a while and lets me spend money on my 4-wheelers. I would like to keep her around for a while.
The 330 kit ts the only thing I havnt done. I want to run the hell out of this motor, then replace it with a new one with all kinds of mods. Thats why I ride it so hard, the sooner I blow it up, the sooner she will let me put the new motor in.
