I was riding on road i hit a big hole i bend my rear axle.Dealer said can do nothing for help me .700.00$ for new one ouff.
they said my protection plan do not cover that ,is that is trus

I don't know if that is true, but my dealer claims to know machine shop that can get it pretty straight for a whole lot less than $700.

I think you better find a new dealer cause we only paid about $256.28,,part number,,41068-1449,,, for a new axle from Kawi! They can also be straightened but it will bend even easier next time you hit something of land a big jump!

Your rear axle can be straightened no problem at all on a hydraulic press, if done by the right person. Just make sure it's done cold and not hot. Had one done off an old Honda 300, and it lasted for years, with not even a visible "wobble" when running.

I had a bent rear axle to on my 2002 prairie 650, The price you said must have been in canadian Dollars, and even then it would be more expensive then the price my dealer wanted to sell it to me. Fact is that I did not pay, I called dierectly the customer service of Kawasaki, my dealer gave it to me after I asked. After talking to the kind lady of kawasaki, They analysed my case and decided to Give me a new axle, but not the installation, so I changed it my self, It took about 35 minutes, it is not a hard job if you have the shop manual under hand. I returned my bent axle to the dealer so he could send it to kawasaki for analysis. I had 3000 km on the bike. I have the extended warranty, and no where in the contract it is said that the axle is not garranteed. If you take the time to call them, I am sure you will get the parts for free. Note that my wheels where not bent, anything, I don't even know How I did bend my axle, i oticed a vibration a one point and cheked, then I found out my axle was bent. I never beaten out the bike, it really was a fabrication flaw.

Hey, I just read your reply and see that you changed a bent axle on a Prairie. It seems I have the same task in my future as well. I was wondering what I am up for? Basicly how long will it take, about and how hard would you rate the work? I am a descent mechanic and my brother who will be doing most of the job is a really good mechanic. What I want to know is were there any tricky thing you encountered or special tools that you need or specs like clearances? Any help are advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated. normally aftermarket is cheaper and better than factory...........NORMALLY. Look into Durablue axles. Rockymountainatv.som lists them and are a hell of a lot cheaper than 700 bucks!!!! shouldn't be too hard to swap out.
