Bayou 220 Valve Settings

Does anybody know the valve clearance settings for the Bayou?

Intake .006 to.008
Exhaust .007 to .009
Cold engine

Would these clearance specs vary any for an older model 220. Specifically a 1988. Thanks......................Kevin

What color is your 220? Im trying to figure out exactly what year model mine is.

I doubt if the setting would change because of the year model, and it's the same size engine. If you have any worries, set it with the larger clearances. It will allow the valve to cool better.

My 220 is red with large white and blue stripes on the tank area.

Hey guys. To the best of my knowledge, the engine design for the Bayou 220 has not changed since it was first launched many years ago.
