Mojave all the way I have one with supertrapp exhaust, renthal handle bars, dynojet jets,dg nerf bars, razr tires on front and back with douglas wheels and it eats hondas my friends has a 300ex and a 250x and they can't compare although they should fix the fenders and make them smaller but mojave has more suspension travel thats way better. It is cheaper so can can hop it up Kick-starters are more depedable than battery's and mojave have the same top speed as a 300ex.with the right tires mojaves are great in the snow and are predicable jumpers in the air.

Go with the Mojave. I own 2 and they are great! If you buy a new one you can buy a pipe and filter with the money you save where if you buy a 300ex which costs more you can't do all that for the price of a Mojave with a pipe. I can easily beat my friends 250x which is faster than the 300EX. Water-cooled vs air-cooled, great reverse vs junk reverse. I think the Mojave handles way better than a 300ex. Go for the Mojave you'll get a better quad!!

A nice pipe like White Bros. or a Supertrapp will boast the power of a Mojave and a K&N pod filter or a UNI pod filter will help. Do not forget to re-jet the carb. If you want more you can go with White Bros. cams, have the head ported, polished and intake and exhuast ports matched and a higher compersion Wiesco piston. If you don't want to stop there, you can get a big-bore kit or a stroker crank. Before I would get a big-bore kit or a stroker crank, I would put a wider axle and a good set of performance shocks on it.

My friend has a stock 2000 Mojave and we both love it. It's faster than my Wolverine by about 3 mph give or take. But it's acceleration will kill mine. He hasen't put anything on it yet and he needs some help finding a good set of nerf bars and a jet kit. Does anybody have any ideas? He also wants to know if it is a good idea to put a DG bumper on it. Has anybody done that?
