bonzi,
Doesn't that make her run hot ?? You've basically cut off half the airflow to the rad. I never mentioned in the above post, but I also have my winch up there, but the base of the winch is pretty much level with the front rack and incorporated with a kimpex front bumper. I know it's not the ideal pulling point, but sure keeps the winch up and outta the muck. I will try and get some pics for ya's.

In my opinion thats the best place for a winch. I didnt have as much choice, but I looked until I found a mount that put it there on mine. A bit more nose dive when winching, but no problem grabbing the cable when still on the bike. Mine doesnt run any hotter with it there and it blocks quite a bit of my airflow space. Enough air still gets around it I guess. That is a nice looking mount though.

No problem with over heating, in fact on my buds 03 the fan seem to run much more than mine. When pulling some on out it tends to lift and pull the other machine and puts more down force on my front wheels giving me more traction.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]
