P700 / P650 tire questions
#11
Just want to say, I rode around 39 miles today and the ATRs performed very well. I rode through some "off road mud" and only had to put in in 4wd once. With a slow throttle and rocking, the ATRs "DRAGGED" me and the P650 through some deep mud. Im not saying this is a mud tire, just saying this tire can get you through some mud "on the trail" easily in 4wd if not 2wd most of the time.
BTW, I had a friend ride behind me today and he could not see anything wrong with tires or atv that would cause my shake I mentioned in my first post.

The ATRs WILL throw a roost. Tell the guy behind you to stay out of your "roost-zone"(as we call it)! LOL
I highly recommend the ATRs for all utilitiy conditions but deep mud. Never ran mine in snow, either. Excellent fast trail riding tire, that is not prone to punctures. At least mine weren't. They are 6 ply rated.

It seems there are more users of the atr's than the BH. I was leaning to the bias ply BH to give a maxxis tire a chance, but have changed my mind to the atr's. The few negative complaints maybe isolated situations with some bad apples in the bunch- as with anything massed produced. I currently only have my stock rims- old c-series rims doesn't fit kawa. KOD- do you use the atr's on the stock rims or aftermarket wheels? Any recommendation fo an extra wheel? Douglas vs itp or other manufactures?

I have mine mounted on C-Series. I have seen 3 sets mounted on stock wheels though. I would have mounted mine on stock wheels but one front wheel is bent up bad enough that I dont want to run it for and extended period of time anymore. I like the c-series, they look nice and give you 2" more width. I would recommend preping them with something, "wd-40, Pam cooking spray" before getting them muddy. My first set had a tendancy to mud stain. My current wheels are holding up great.
