Default spark plugs V-Force

Has anyone tried different plugs for the V? Any improvements over stock?

Denso Iridium (IU22) work great over stock plugs...

With exhaust, airbox, and jetting mods, should we go to a "hotter" or "cooler" plug?

bigcreek1,

I just run with the stock equivalent (Denso Iridium IU22) over 2,700 hard miles on these plugs and they still burn clean, but I am going to change them next week. I order them from Dennis Kirk.com they run about 12 bucks.

I put a set of NGK iridium's in my old 650 stock were CR7E and these were CR8EIX one notch colder, I could tell no difference in performance, the head temp may have been slighty lower but the colder plug fouled in about 500 miles, I wasn't jetted to rich so I don't know why they did, the v may be different because it has a different ignition and not as much retard , but in the 650 the iridium's made no difference and fouled too quick.......
