I put elka's on the front ... without the Rezzy's .... They lowered the front about one and a half inches..... paid about $450 for the pair .... I would do it again in a heart beat.

Funny thing here...bamf203 is the high bidder on those Elkas, however on this auction he is selling because he sold the bike.

Default ELKA TRIPLE RATE FRONT SHOCKS?

Hey Teddy700. I have the elkas with reserviors front and elkas progressive rate rear with res. I've had them for about 5 months now. I do alot of crosscountry and trailriding with my V700. I put the front shocks on right out of the box with no adjustments and still haven't done any. The rear shock was a little too stiff, but Martin at ELKA SUSPENTION sent me a new rear primary spring at no charge, this helped the stiff rear. I have seen and heard people talk about axis, but I don't think they could ride any better than elka's. I know that the people at elka are super friendly, I call them from time to time with questions and they are always happy to help. I had elkas on one of my previous quads(Z400) and wasn't really happy with the ride, so I called up elka and explained how my bike was handling and they sent me some new springs that helped some. I called them after a couple of weeks trailriding still unhappy, guess what? They sent me another set of springs, this time I was satisfied with the ride. My point is, axis may be a better shock, but customer service and appreciation is alot safer bet. As far as where to buy them and how much? I don't know in your area, I bought mine from a local atv shop that I deal with regularly(GRS RACING), that is the cheapest place that I have found for me. I don't think you could go wrong with the elkas, they help in everything you do on your bike. I race some flattrack races occasionally, and the adjustable ride height on the elkas is a simple process to lower the bike. You can contact ELKA SUSPENTION at 1-800-557-0552 to find a dealer nearest you, Martin is the owner, and an excellent guy to talk to.
