Default KFX VForce 700 Questions.

Could you tell me which DynoJet Jet sizes and on which needle grove you have used to get the best performances from the KFX700?

I have installed the Q214 Jet Kit on my ATV Kawasaki KFX700 (equipped with a dual-exaust aftermarket system, with stock airfilter and stock airbox).

At the beginning I installed DJ124 in the front and DJ128 in the rear carb with needles on groove #5.
I usually drive 50% of my time below 5000 feet and the remaining 50% above 5000 feet. And was during the first of this ride above 5000 feet that I discovered that the engine was not running properly: it accelerates until the midrange then pauses, stumbles until I back off the throttle.

I therefore moved the needles on groove #4 and now this problem seems to be solved. However, I have the perception that below 5000 feet it is less performing.

Do you believe that I have already reached the better compromise that I can have?

Hey maverick 87. I have just what you need. I have a green 04 VFORCE already set up for crosscountry racing. It has ELKA triple rate shocks with reservoirs up front, and ELKA progressive rate dual spring with res. on back, IMS front bumper, EPI pro series clutch kit, K&N air filter, DENTON adjustable steering stabilizer, PRO CIRCUIT T-4 exhaust with headpipes, RENTHAL handlebars, SMITH handgrips, AC propeg nerfbars, MAXXIS RAZR 2 front tires on factory wheels, HOLESHOT XCT rear tires on factory wheels, brand new ITP MUDLITE front tires on new 10X5 ITP T-9 BAJA WHEELS, brand new ITP MUDLITE rear tires on new10X8 ITP T-9 BAJA WHEELS. I love the bike but I'm wanting to buy a house and could use the extra money. I have around $10,000.00 invested in this bike, I've been thinking about selling all of the parts off of it and then sell it in stock condition but I would like to just sell it all together. The bike is 6 months old, all of the plastic is good(no cracks or breaks, some normal scratches), the frame is perfect(only paint wear on front a-arms, no dents or breaks), headlights are still new(I took them out when it was new to keep from scratching or breaking them). I ran one mid-south hare scramble earlier this year and had enough fuel with the stock tank, mid-souths are only 1.5 hours instead of 2 hours like gncc, but I think the stock tank would make it. You may not want to start out buying a bike already set up, but a new V is gonna run you around $6,000.00 or a little over, I would take $7,500.00 for mine(yes, I'm loosing $2,500.00 and I have reciepts to prove it). The bike needs nothing, and I don't want to sell it, but sometimes other things are more important, atleast I'm trying to make myself believe that.

I just upgraded from a polaris trailboss to the kfx700 with all kinds of upgrades. at first i was a little worried that it would be too much but it is not. its fast but handles great. i would get a machine that suits you riding style instead of forcing a machine to ride in a way it was not designed.

I also heard 49 hp. It only takes small mods on this engine to produce big Hp numbers.
I think 75 mph is pushing it though. Unless you have the computer to rev that far.
I can run a 42 mile cross country race one one tank, and believe me, I'm not "taking it easy"/ The IMS tank is not only hard to find, but unnecessary.
