Jetting for KFX700
Who knows which DynoJet Jet sizes and which needle grove have to be used to get the best performances from KFX700?
I have installed the Q214 Jet Kit on my ATV Kawasaki KFX700 (equipped with a dual-exaust aftermarket system, with stock airfilter and stock airbox).
At the beginning I installed DJ124 in the front and DJ128 in the rear carb with needles on groove #5. I usually drive 50% of my time below 5000 feet and the remaining 50% above 5000 feet. And was during the first of this ride above 5000 feet that I discovered that the engine was not running properly: it accelerates until the midrange then pauses, stumbles until I back off the throttle.
I therefore moved the needles on groove #4 and now this problem seems to be solved. However, I have the perception that below 5000 feet it is less performing.
Do you believe that I have already reached the better compromise that I can have?
