Default Ice raceing in alberta

Killefit,

Thanks for all the info! The race I will be in w/ my Prairie 650, will just be an 8 lap race at the local winter carnival. I am going to stud a set of Dunlops that came stock on my wife's Vinson. The tires have less than 100 miles wear on them, so the lugs are still very solid. I know my Prairie should be competitive w/ the few modifications I have made to it (see my sig). My only concern is my own ability I have never ice raced before, but i figure one of the keys would have to be staying on the throttle in the turns, so that the 4wd can pull me through the turns. I will have plenty of opportunity to practice before the race, as the lakes and ponds freeze pretty solid, around here, by Christmas.
