Default epi bright green spring

just took out the epi pink on my v (dont like the wheelie effect on the start) I installed the epi bright green, whoa! this is more like it! tires break loose just enough to keep the front end down and this thing blasts away. much better imo if you like to drag race.

Yeah, the B/G spring proved to be a little quicker in the drag races in my spring test.

What was the price on the "bright green" spring?
Where did you order it?
Did you have to change the weights?
Where do you drag race and how did the V perform?

Ordered the brite green spring from EPI today. Hope it's as good as you say, if not I'm going with the

What spring is best for general increase in performance not just draging?

Depends on if you have duals and heavier weights or not. If not, try something like the EPI pink or a a little higher like a 20-175. If you have duals, get the Dalton DPK weights as they are adjustable and go for a high top number 190+ . The higher the first number, the harsher the engagement. I tryed the Polaris Silver last nite. 80-210. I loved the performance an acceleration but the revs where too high for any type of trail riding. I am looking for a 35 to 40 up to a 190 which I think will work fine. I must say once the clutches engaged, they acceleration of the 210 lb spring blew the EPI pink off the map. Just need to find a lower engagement RPM

Thanx XC800.
I do run DMC duals. I wouldnt like to have much more stall than now as it will make it difficult for trail riding. Do you suggest just the weights from Dalton. I am not really familiar with the weights just the springs. is it as easy to change as a spring. where do i get hold of Dalton.. Is the EPI pink more for stock?
