New p700 very strong low end grunt but is lacking aceleration past say 30mph. It has atr tires, low end performance box other wise stock. got beat buy 650(well used) has performance box 26inch bearclaws. Both are my machines. Any idea why the 650 beat the 700.

 

The 700 needs "Nyroc exhaust mod", rejetting, twin air, and DG snorkle.

Was the 700 stock? I imagine my 650 would give a stocker 700 a hard time if not beat it (if tires were equal).

Put the same mods on a 700 and it would be quicker.

 

both had the same mods exept the 650 has bear and 700 atr's. The 700 also got beat by sportsman 500 and 700 on top end, is that normal.

 

It sounds like your "low end performance box" is not running properly. If not, it will drop off your 25 MPH and up power. Call whoever you got it from for assistance.

 

bonez, that is not normal. I never raced a Pol 700 but I have raced 3 Pol 500HO's and beat them bad in 325' and 875' drag races.

 

Your module is hooked up wrong or not working.

 

You should be able to take all the machines you mentioned. Take the low end module off & see if the mid & high end comes back.

Might also take a look at your plugs.

 

The module connections are probably not making it.
