Lakota Utility, HELP!!!!!!!!!
I am just starting out rideing ATV's and I am getting a Lakota Utility for FREE!!!!! and I have a few questions...
1) I read that it is auto-clutch and was wondering if it is push button shifting like a honda foreman, or whether it is just foot shiftin w/o a clutch?
2) How does this machine handle with a load, maybe 2 gallons of gas, tools, stuff like that? (Max 50 pounds on front and rear combined)
3) Does this machine have a 12 volt outlet?
4) How does it start and run in snow and cold weather (down to 25 degrees)?
5) How does it take hills?
6) Can you upgrade the Lakota utility, like you can upgrade a sports one?
7) What are the differances between the utility and the sport (they look the same but the utility has carrying racks on it)?
I am sure I will think of some more but this is it for now, sorry if some of the questions are dumb

Lakota Utility, HELP!!!!!!!!!
1)It is an auto clutch, witch means you have 5 gears you have to shift with your foot.
2)I have riden for two days with over 550 pounds(including rider) on my lakota with no problems at all. Even jumped a little.
3)Thier is not a 12v outlet, but on the back is a couple of wires that are hooked up for accessories. I had a buddy go to the parts store and buy a ciggeret lighter for a car and hook it up. It works good.
4)My lakota starts when nothing else will. The lakota has to be the best cold starting 4-wheeler ever made. I am sure every Lakota owner will agree with me.
5)I call my Lakota "the goat" because it climbs more than it should. My Lakota is on top of the hill when everyone else is still falling down it.
6)I have done over $4500 in mods to my Lakota and will beat my 400ex in the woods. Go to a thread called "Lakota performance kit" and you can see a list of my mods.
7)The only major difference between the two are the racks and lights.
My sugestion is if you want to learn about the lakota, go to the kawasaki forum and go to "search category" and type in "Lakota" and there you can learn everything about the lakota.
