Yeah it's large. A friend of mine has a stock Craptor and I can out run him out of the hole but he will catch up in a long run can't wait for a cdi to come out cause it retard's ignition the faster it goes. With a cdi and a good primary spring it should out run anything stock with out any other mod's. It suck's cause Kawi detuned it so bad with those two item's. I love it though it handle's great as big as it is and has gone any where that I have been brave enough to go with out any complaint's from the V.Mine is stock for the time being till I get some fund's to mod it.Just bought a new house and now I'm broke for the next 30 year's so some time around 2033 I should be installing the Yoshi's,web cam's,Dg snorkel and ims tank plus the way it's going they may have a performance cdi out for it by then.

I think that it MIGHT be that the weight is distributed more evenly across the truck, but i might be wrong and it might not be that, but its just a guess at how that could have happened.

Still though mass = mass no way around that.
say you have a 4000lbs truck and you add 500lbs it still = 4500lbs.
The either the scale's have to be wrong or the V Force weight's less that what Kawasaki claim's.
But if the V weighed less Kawasaki would definately advertise it because the weight of the V does make people think about buying it.
So I'm going with the scale's are wrong.

I think the only way we are really going to know if the scales are off or not is if it would have been weighed before he took of all the stuff. Then we would know the stock weight well at least the number of pounds it lost since the scales are probably off.

You guys forgot to mention if it was dry weight ? Gas is heavy and if Kawi says 500 lbs with gas and oil and coolant.... then a bike with an empty gas tank could weigh a lot less than what Kawi says.

Well i dont know about the other fluids, but i was wondering the same thing. So i went to a website and it said that the gas would only weigh about 10 pounds on a full tank... i guess all this stuff could be adding up and the scales may be right
