Quad vs Jeep

Quad vs Jeep
I just got back from a ATV riding trip to Moab, Utah. I rode Poison Spider Masa trail, Fins-n-Things (night ride), Kane Creek Canyon, and Hurrah Pass. I saw a lot of 4x4 Jeeps and Toyota trucks out there and I'm happy to report that I was able to basically ride circles around them. I wouldn't say that I'm an expert rider, but I found out that the Prairie 650/700 is a very capable ATV and Moab is an awesome place to ride! If you get a change to get out there you will have a really good time.

Quad vs Jeep
I trail rode, & raced Jeeps, ( & other 4 X 4 trucks ), for over 10 years... I can gaurentee that there is very little that my modified prairie couldn't do that my modified Jeep could do... however deeper mud, or extreme rock crawling, I would only consider in my Jeep... I.E. I've been through mud pits with my Jeep that I definately would have gotten stuck in with my Prairie... & there is no way I'd do extreme rock crawling on my ATV... ( in definate need of a roll cage )( I mean "real" extreme... I probably ride hard enough in most situations with my ATV, for it to be considered extreme by most )...
the main reason I got into ATVing, is that in Minnesota, there is only 1 state OHV ( truck ) trail, & 20-30 ATV / OHM trails... if I lived in Colorado, Utah etc. I probably would have never purchased my 1st quad...WAM
