Default Belt check light on 360

The belt check light stays on steady, no flashing. Doesn't seem to affect the operation of the machine. What could cause this?

Mine also did this, there is nothing wrong its just a 100 hour indicator. To fix it unplug the belt switch that is on the belt cover. Next find the connector for the electronic engine brake and another connector that looks like it except its a different color. One is black and one is gray. Disconnect the two connectors and cross them. Turn on the machine but dont start the engine and let it set for a few seconds. Reconnect everything and your done.

I just have 87 hours on the machine. I thought that when the 100 hours are up, the belt check light will flash, 4wd won't work, and the engine won't rev too high. The light is on steady, not flashing, and 4wd works fine, and the engine revs up fine. The light is just staying on steady, and won't go off until I turn the ignition off, and it flashes 3 times, then goes out.

If you ask me thats cool.. but all it sounds like is a lose connection on your headlight switch.. you might wanna check the wires..

How can a loose wire on the headlight switch cause the belt check light to stay on steady?

I tried the memory clearing procedure, but the check belt light remains on steady. Anyone got any idea about the problem?

I did the memory clearing procedure again and it worked this time. The check belt light is fine now. Thanks 03P360 Trailblazer, you were right on! Although I had only 87 hours on it, it came on early. I called the dealer's mechanic and he said it was normal for the light to come on before the 100 hours are up. Anyway, all is fine at the moment. Thanks again.

Glad to hear you got it fixed. It took me twice to get mine to go off the first time it came on, and if I remember right my light came on well before 100 hours also.
