nebraska tire 589's
#3
I returned FIVE nebraska tires - ordered four outlaws - price too good to be true
mounted all four - one had a sidewall slit from a razor - they immediately sent another -
Finally got them all mounted - first ride was disaster - just in the parking lot of the tire shop -
It was like riding a horse - bump-bump .... bump-bump .... 30 mph and it was uncontrollable -
I paid to have them balanced - after ninteen ounces of lead on one tire - it just was SO out of round - no way -
I ripped them off the rims and asked for a refund from Nebraska -
on their behalf, they said OK and promptly sent a prepaid return label for all FIVE.
This was in September -
Now the end of October - they got their tires and my money - no refund yet but they assure me it is going to happen soon ...
BTW - I picked the GBC Dirt Devil and bought it from a First Rate dealer -
An awesome tire that just survived 200 miles at Hatfield / McCoy without one flat - and they went uphill and downhill like a mountain goat.
My advise is to forget those awesome deals that seem too good to be true -
If I get my money back, I'll be happy but will still be out the $$$ to mount, balance and then dismount them - I figure it's the cost of education -
