Default Help, V Force will barely run

Started out fine. Then after about 6 miles of rough and muddy trails it suddenly started to run like the reverse rev limiter kicked in. Acts as though it's a fuel starvation problem although it starts great and may run good for anywhere from 3 feet to a half mile before it gets sick. Then shut it off for a minute and you can start this cycle over again. No line blockage or crap in the tank or the filters, including the filter in the tank with the pump.

Has anyone had anything similar happen to their V? Any electrical connections that could cause a similar problem? Any known fuel pump or fuel pressure problems? Open to suggestions. Thanks for any help.

Check the wires on the black box mounted under the seat. The box is in the middle thats mounted to the frame. It is the flip over switch,it can cause crazy things to happen when it goes bad or a loose wire.It shuts of the fuel and ignition when the atv flips over past 70 degrees.

Default Help, V Force will barely run

Thanks guys. Tank is properly vented. Fuel lines and filter are just fine. Checking the roll over switch now but this doesn't seem to be the problem as I've jumpered it and still no change but it sure sounded like a likely problem spot to me considering the terrain we ride. Any other ideas are more than welcome. By the way, repair manual won't be here until Mon. or Tues. so I'm kind of flying blind here but sure would like to get the thing running. Thanks again.

see if it runs normal with the seat off. I had a very similar problem on mine but I noticed the fuel line was being pinched by the seat base
