Rolled My P700 today bent the steering column and the bars... Anyone that has done an install that could Please help Me I would appreciate the help,,,, I am very mechanicaly inclined Any suggestions would be great Have the parts on Order Thanks

Worst part of it is removing all the front plastics. Once that's out of the way there's nothing to it. Saved my bent one and cut the tube out of both ends and replaced it with 6061 round stock that I turned to the proper size for the upper bushing. Where the original turn down is for the upper bushing is where they always bend. By replacing it with solid stock I hope to avoid it bending again under the same circumstance.

 

Cutting, turning, reinforcing. Man, you guys are scaring me.
