Default Dual snorkel pixs now visable

After relentless hounding and whining by myself, debeck changed a forum rule so now all users can view supporting members photos. This was why some of you could not see my snorkel mod pix. Before, you had to be a suppporting member to see supporting members photos stored beyond location 12.

Mod took 1/2 hr, cost 12 bucks on a Central vac line that fits the stock intake perfectly. The second hole is 2 1/8 and the hos screws right in. If you ride dusty or water. you can cover up the intake ends with SLP snoescreen material. It passes air but not water.

XC...
Are you planning on adding the hood to help force-feed the inlets? I'm trying to decide if it's worth the $169 to get one. What do you think? Would it actually give the V more ummph, or is it mostly for looks?

When I wasn't looking, Alltoys cut out the "V" shaped depressions in the black nose plastic. This was before I did the snorkel mods. It helps the air flow for sure. I wasn't planning on a hood but what I will do this aft is remove the black plastic altogether and go for a run. I will see if the motor "calls out " for fatter jetting. Then the hood could be the next step.

The hood would help run cool air into the airbox on the hot days for sure

We don't get the heat around here like the southern US and when it climbs above 28-30 ( 88-90 F) I am in my boat!!

I will post what I find tommorrow
