Default 650 dyno runs

I did a search and found 3 threads concerning the use of the Gtech on ATV's. They confirmed what I had already thought, the HP numbers would not be accurate. But, I don't need that part anyway. I need accurate 0-60 times, for comparisons sake thats all anyone really needs to see if the mods are working or not. Quarter mile times would be nice but most quads are tapped out long before they go that distance.
Truckracer: did any of the posts say if they could get the elapsed time functions to work; I'd love to one of those units if I could record 0-60 feet, 0-300feet, etc.

Recently I purchased a unit called a Tazzo accerometer like the G-Tech a little less expensive it works very well if you can eliminate wheel spin it is rather close to HP ratings. It works very well for determining the modds you do. I used it along with my Digatron tach to find out the best combination for jetting. The Tazzo has 0 - 60 times, 1/8 and 1/4 times, these times when plugged into the unit along with weight of the vehicle will show the HP of the vehicle. The unit is set with a short time lag just like a drag light as by the time you stage it takes a short period of time before you pass the start light timer. I find it to be a difinate aid when diagnosing my modds.

Alltoys - is the $159.00 on their website about what you paid? Or is it available elsewhere for less?

Truckracer,
Yes I went off the site I could not find it anywhere else so far I like the unit. It doesn't need to be leveled at all I mount it on the airbox lid plug in the adapter for the cigarette lighter push the button wait for the lights to flash then nail the throttle. Easy to operate, it keeps a number of trys so you can average the results then plug them into the HP function.

Reds650,
One day when I get chance to go through a set of timing lights I will post my times with modds and one with no modds. Next spring I hope to have my EFI and 2 stage Nos system hooked up. I have 5 inches of snow right now might be little difficult to get traction even if I move some snow. I hope to be ready for a few ice races this new year there will be a 24 hour numb bum last temperatures were in the -40's should be fun.
