I wiped out today, busted front plastic(green), and my collarbone....that sucks, not even a high speed crash 30-40 in the sand yet I must have landed funny or really need to drink more milk. I now am in need of front plastic, steering stem, and a better collarbone I'll really miss riding the next 5-6 weeks...thats a bummer. On the lighter side I have yet to bend my tie rods. Any one wanting to part with any green plastic, let me know....Ride On- Mudfoot

glad you're OK... my collar bone & ribs were the least of my worries, after my MC accident... I finally get my cast off tommorow, & luckily didn't need skin grafts...good luck in your recovery...

Hey Mudfoot.... I'm with ya. Broke my collarbone 2 weeks ago. Mine broke in 3 pieces, and they didn't line it back up. The doc said I'll just have a knot there. Are you wearing the figure 8 harness? sleeping in a chair? My V is tore down getting repaired now. Will be ready when I am. Trees hurt.

TRX500- Yea I have the figure 8 harness...better than a cast, but it still sucks. I Okie rigged some pillows to sleep last night( about 2 hours at a time). Anyone ordered plastics from ron ayers? It's footnoted down low that they don't ship plactics because they are oversized, Ron's prices are very good....I know my local delar will be high. TRX500....how long they keeping ya harnessed for? Get well man. Mudfoot

Just wait after about a week that little pillow in the back(that slides up) will get very sore. I have started wearing a t-shirt under it and it helps. Doc said 4-6 weeks if after he sees the x-rays tommorrow that he don't have to operate, but I think it is doing fine. Not hurting near like it was. And yes it does suck. Dumb me thought I was feeling well enough to just take an easy ride around my nephews yard on his V yesterday. One jerk of the V torque took the thought back out of my head real quick.
