The only things I've heard about the 360 are that it is a little underpowered for its weight and size, and that it bends frame parts rather easily. But other than that, it does have some nice stuff like a 4x4 diff. locker. I would say get a Rancher or a Bruin instead.

I know you Kawi folks are going to give me heck for this, but in my opinion, the ultimate off-road battleship is the Polaris Sportsman 600 or 700. You get a 65+ mph machine with an auto locking front differential with a true locker, low gears, independent rear suspension, 11-14 inches of ground clearance (depending on model), 1500 lbs. tow rating, a supple ride, and a boat load of factory accessories. My Prairie 700 is cool. But for conquering impossible terrain, I prefer my Polaris.

WileyCoyote is it true that the Polaris machine because of the auto engaging 4wd-AWD that they only engine break in 2wd?

I was just curious as that is what I heard and think I read in a review or maybe it was the Artic Cats.

Thanks,

The manual said nothing about remaining in 2WD for the break-in period. If it did, I missed it, and I screwed up. But the machine works and runs great.

my old lady rides a 360 and she loves it. all she has to do is start it and give it full choke and ride it until it starts to die then release the choke and it is ready to ride for the rest of the day.

I've ridden a p360 for 1 1\2 yrs now & have had NO trouble !! I ride ruff trails & mud . the one thing I like best is the smooth ride & handleing ... my wife rides a 400 rancher at & that is the roughest riding machine I have ever ridden !!!!
on our last ride I had a blast pulling the other bikes out of the mud...lol... although I guess I had an unfair advantage by running 26" mud lites & they were all running stock tires.
It's not the most powerful but it will do anything that you ask it to do . remember that this is a mid-size machine !

Mike, you're right about the rear-wheel-only engine braking on the Polaris. This will get the attention of a first time rider when descending a steep hill . The rider should use the regular brake to avoid getting sideways, or give it a little gas to release the engine braking effect.
